Founder and CEO
Jim Converse played in Sunrise Little League from 1979 to 1986. He attended Casa Roble High School and was a pitcher on the Varsity Baseball Team from 1987 to 1990. the Sacramento Bee named Jim the High School player of the year in 1990. He was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in June, 1990 and began a professional baseball career hat lasted for ten years. He made his major league debut on May 22, 1993 and had a little over two years experience in the major leagues. He was traded to the Kansas City Royals in 1995 for OF Vince Coleman. He had arthoscopic surgery on his right shoulder in June, 1996 and afterwards spent three years at the AAA level, but dod not return to the majors.
Jim has been married to his wife, Tina, for 21 years and they have five children ranging in age from 10 to 17. Jim and Tina have homeschooled all of their children for most of their education.
Coaching Experience
Jim has coached Little League baseball at the Farm, Minor, and Junior divisions. He was also the pitching coach for an American Legion team in Fairfield (17-19 year olds). He is currently the Junior Varsity baseball coach at Valley Christian Academy in Roseville.
